Valerie Bertinelli is back with some very relatable advice via Instagram—this time in the form of fitness motivation.

As posted on Instagram, the 63-year-old took her 1.5 million followers along for a trip to a Pilates session at Grace Anatomy in Los Angeles, captioning the video with: “Exercise is not just for your body. It can also soothe your soul.”

After sharing her sweat session, Bertinelli added in some post-workout motivation: “No matter how hard it is to get there, I always feel so much better about myself when I’m done.”

Commenters commended the beloved star: “You are setting a wonderful example for those of us who are trying to make exercise (or Jazzercise) a healthy habit,” one fan replied. “I always feel better after class!”

As Bertinelli shared with us in a personal essay last year, body-positivity and positive self-talk take priority for her these days.

“For me, the big thing is my weight—it’s the thing that holds me back,” she wrote. “But I want to start feeling the same about myself—no matter what weight I am. I don’t have to wait until I’ve lost weight to be kind to myself and to be kind to others. It shouldn’t matter what I look like. I’m trying to make that a reality in my life, and then, hopefully, my body will follow.”
